The Department of Surgical Oncology is headed by Dr. Arun Chaturvedi is presently Senior Consultant & Head of Surgical Oncology at Sahara India Medical Institute Ltd., Lucknow. Dr. Arun Chaturvedi was Professor & Head, Department of Surgical Oncology, King George’s Medical University (C.S.M.M.U), Lucknow. Dr. Chaturvedi is presently the President of the Indian Association of Surgical Oncology.

He is expert in Surgical Oncology with special interest in Breast cancer, Oral Cancer, Gall Bladder cancer, Soft Tissue Sarcomas, Ovarian cancer.

The Department of Medical Oncology works in complete coordination with Department of Surgical Oncology and is involved in caring for and delivering the most advanced chemotherapy protocols to cancer patients.
Solid tumor chemotherapy for Breast, Lung, Gastrointestinal, Head and Neck, Gynecological, Urological cancers and haematological malignancies such as leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma is being carried out by Dr. V. Sucheta, Consultant, Medical Oncology. Dr. V Sucheta has been trained at the Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai and has a long experience of practicing Medical Oncology.

Dr. S.H. Advani, renowned Medical Oncologist, former Head of Medical Oncology at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai and present Director Medical Oncology, Jaslok Hospital, Mumbai is a visiting consultant at Sahara Hosptal.
The hospital has facilities for day care as well as inpatient chemotherapy. This is done under the supervision of Dr Sucheta by a team of well trained staff who are well versed in handling chemo ports, PICC and central venous catheters.
